Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan is hiring dedicated production assistants for his latest spinoff Lawmen: Bass Reeves, which delves into the journey of the first African American deputy US Marshal in the American West. Filming has been underway in North Texas since January, and additional help is needed behind the scenes. The show features an all-star cast, including David Oyelowo as the titular character, Donald Sutherland as Judge Isaac Parker, and Dennis Quaid as Deputy US Marshal Sherrill Lynn. The six-episode series does not yet have a premiere date but could air as early as late 2023.
