Paramount Network's popular neo-Western drama Yellowstone will end with the Season 5 finale, which will air in November. An as-yet-untitled spinoff, possibly starring Matthew McConaughey, is set to debut in December on Paramount Network and stream on Paramount+. The decision comes amid rumors that leading man Kevin Costner pushed for reduced work hours on the back half of season 5. Despite a denial from his attorney, the network reportedly turned down the proposal and opted for a new iteration of Yellowstone that could star McConaughey. Created in 2018, Yellowstone has spawned multiple spinoffs, including Bass Reeves and 6666.
