"1923" is the upcoming prequel series to "Yellowstone", set in the Prohibition era as Montana experiences economic collapse. The show will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore their lives during the early 20th century, dealing with pandemics, drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression.

The cast includes Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, and Timothy Dalton, among others. The series is currently filming and is expected to arrive on Paramount+ in December 2022. "1923" is helmed by Taylor Sheridan, who also serves as the showrunner and executive producer.
