Jennifer Lawrence ‘stole’ the show in X-rated movie with just one scene!

Jennifer Lawrence fans are praising the star for ‘stealing’ the show in No Hard feelings with one particular scene.

The X-rated movie sees Lawrence playing a woman who is financially hard up, and comes across an interesting opportunity.

She is offered money to date a wealthy couple’s 19-year-old son, who is also introverted and so has struggled with dating in the past. What follows is a raunchy comedy which sees Lawrence’s character trying to bring the man out of his shell.

The film also stars Andrew Barth Feldman, Laura Benanti, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Natalie Morales, Scott MacArthur, and Matthew Broderick.

The synopsis reads: “Maddie thinks she’s found the answer to her financial troubles when she discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to ‘date’ their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for college.

“But awkward Percy proves to be a real challenge, and time is running out. She has one summer to make him a man or lose it all.”

No Hard Feelings originally released in late June, though it’s widened its reach recently thanks to a release on Netflix in the US.

While the talk surrounding the movie is mostly around the, erm, nudity, many fans are praising one particular scene which actually has nothing X-rated in it.

Midway through the flick, Maddie and Percy agree to go on a date to make up for the proms they both skipped when back at high school.

As they are seated together in a posh restaurant, Maddie notices a piano in the centre of the dining room.

She quickly pressures Percy to go and play something for her. He decides to play a slowed-down version of Daryl Hall and John Oates’ ‘Maneater’, a song that Percy previously told Maddie used to scare him as a child.

When he returns to his seat after performing the track, a shocked Maddie tells him: “What the f***? That was unbelievable. How did you even know that song?”

And it’s safe to say many on social media had a similar reaction to the scene, with many flocking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to give their reactions.

A second added: “You’ll probably hear a lot of chatter about THAT scene of Jennifer Lawrence on the beach, but THIS scene stole the movie for me. It’s pure cinema.”

While a third remarked: “No Hard Feelings surprised the hell outta me. I loved it. And that piano cover of Maneater… perfect.”
