Singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett was spotted on the set of the hit police procedural series, Blue Bloods in Brooklyn, New York. He appeared in costume as Texas Ranger Waylon Gates and filmed scenes with Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Detective Danny Reagan. Lovett previously guest-starred in an episode during the tenth season. Blue Bloods follows the story of the Reagan family, who have a long history of working in law enforcement in New York City. The show has been highly rated since its debut in 2010 and has been renewed for its twelfth season, currently ongoing.
