Danny Huston, who played Dan Jenkins in the show, comes from an illustrious family of filmmakers and actors, including his father, John, a legendary director and screenwriter. Jennifer Landon and Eden Brolin, who play ranch hands Teeter and Mia, respectively, are also "nepo babies." Cole Hauser, playing Rip Wheeler, is the son of actor Wings Hauser and filmmaker Cass Warner, granddaughter of Warner Bros. co-founder Harry Warner. Luke Peckinpah, a relative newcomer, is the nephew of renowned director Sam Peckinpah.
