Yellowstone is expanding its universe with two new spin-off shows, 1883: The Bass Reeves Story and Yellowstone 6666. Unlike the original series, these shows will focus on a different ranch and character beyond the Dutton family. 1883: The Bass Reeves Story will be an anthology of season one and will follow legendary U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves. Meanwhile, Yellowstone 6666 will introduce the Four Sixes ranch, which has been teased in the main show, and reintroduce Jimmy Hurdstrom, who left for the Texas ranch in Yellowstone season four. Although the shows will steer away from the Dutton family, they could still play a minor role in connecting the spinoffs to the main series. These new shows will expand the universe while giving audiences more insight into the empire the Dutton family has created.
