Production on the Yellowstone prequel spinoff series, 1923, has been delayed indefinitely due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike. The series was supposed to resume production earlier this month in Butte, Montana, but the production has requested a 10-day extension of their contract and could be requesting further extensions depending on the duration of the strike. Additionally, there is potential for a Screen Actors Guild strike. Season 5 of Yellowstone is also in limbo, with rumors of behind-the-scenes drama and production delays. Season 1 of 1923 is now streaming on Paramount+.
