Unfortunately, there are no specific details about the plot of 1944. However, considering the time period of the previous prequels, it can be assumed that it will take place in the 1940s.

With this in mind, the series could explore the Dutton family's experiences during World War II or even the significant events of the 1944 presidential election, which saw Franklin D. Roosevelt win a year before his death.
