Fear the Walking Dead showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian B. Goldberg have explained why Alicia was absent throughout the final season of the show. Alycia Debnam-Carey, who plays Alicia, was no longer a series regular and had other commitments, making it difficult to include her in a larger storyline. However, her absence allowed the show to create a narrative question about Alicia's fate and ultimately reunite her with her mother, Madison, in the series finale. This reunion provided closure for the Clark family's story and opened up possibilities for future stories involving Alicia and Madison. There are currently no plans for a Fear the Walking Dead spinoff or continuation.
