Madison was the original protagonist of Fear the Walking Dead before being killed off in season 4. However, the end of season 7 sees her and current lead character Morgan being transported to a PADRE ship together. Season 8 will focus on Morgan's search for his daughter, with Madison potentially teaming up with him to take down PADRE despite currently working for them. This may be Madison's final season as Fear the Walking Dead is ending, but her return gives the show a chance to wrap up one of its original main character's stories.
