2023/06/27

Fort Worth native Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of the show, has recently acquired the quarter-million-acre 6666 Ranch. The exact purchase price remains undisclosed, but the ranches were collectively listed for sale at $341 million for the real estate alone. This acquisition is considered one of the most significant ranch purchases in recent U.S. history, with a total land area of over 266,000 acres. The sale includes all three operational divisions of the ranch: the main 6666 Ranch spanning approximately 142,372 acres in Guthrie, the Dixon Ranch covering 114,455 acres in Carson and Hutchison counties, and the smaller Frisco Creek Ranch encompassing 9,428 acres in Sherman County.
