The series finale of Fear The Walking Dead avoids major problems by bringing back Alicia, one of the show's original characters. Killing Alicia off-screen would have been a disservice to her character, who has developed into a resilient leader. Additionally, a reunion between Alicia and her mother Madison was crucial for their narrative arcs to feel complete.
