The filming of the second season of the prequel series 'Yellowstone: 1923' has been delayed due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike. The strike began on May 2, 2023, and has caused production delays in the film and television industry. The series, which premiered in December 2022, stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as Jacob and Cara Dutton and explores their struggles in the early 20th-century frontier.

The second season was set to start filming on June 5 but has been postponed indefinitely.
