2023/09/10

Jennifer Aniston is one of the most breathtakingly stunning actresses in Hollywood. She has been in showbiz for decades and has worked on many lucrative television shows and blockbuster big-screen projects. The actress became a household name in 1994 with her excellent portrayal of Rachel Green on the most popular television sitcom FRIENDS.

In her multi-decade reign as one of the most in-demand actresses, she has steadily built an impressive filmography filled with dozens of incredible projects and won armloads of critically acclaimed awards.

However, over the years, Aniston has expressed her candid opinions on the social media brutality that actors often endured, whether it's for their change in physique or their love life.

In a candid interview, she addressed how she gets trolled and bullied, and body-shamed on social media.

Jennifer Aniston Talks About her Body Weight And The Social Media Abuse

Jennifer Aniston is one of the most talented star performers in Hollywood. Aniston often sets the internet on fire by sharing her workout videos and sharing her diet regimen in her interviews. Her acting genius and starry performances have won her several prominent accolades.

However, over the years, the actress has become super vocal about the challenges and social media brutality stars often face for many reasons.

In an interview, the Office Space star revealed how she maintained weight and addressed how distractors constantly troll actors and bully them. Aniston shared,

"My body doesn't love carbs. These days, if I was being super picky, I would love to drop 5 pounds. That is just where I have always been really comfortable at about 110 to 113 pounds. But it is harder at this age."

She further opened up about the internet trolling, saying,

"If they get a picture, that picture comes and goes, so who cares? Then you have 30 mean people who sit at their computers and spend their entire day picking apart and insulting celebrities about how ugly they are just so they can feel better — I guess — about themselves.

I don't understand it. There is also this pressure in Hollywood to be ageless. I think what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves."

Jennifer Aniston is a fabulous star who raises the bar higher for herself with every project she takes. She has captivated the audience with her charm and girt, and many look up to her, as even at 54, she has maintained her sultry physique.

Jennifer Aniston Claims She is Sick of People Body-shaming Women

In 2016, Jennifer Aniston penned a lengthy piece for Huffington Post stating the intense public scrutiny she endured throughout her career. The actress also shared her thoughts on how sick she is of seeing the constant absurd Objectification and body-Shaming of women in society.

The Primetime Emmy award-winning star wrote,

"For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of journalism, the First Amendment, and celebrity news."

She continued,

"If I am some kind of symbol to some people out there, then clearly I am an example of the lens through which we, as a society, view our mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, female friends, and colleagues. The objectification and scrutiny we put women through is absurd and disturbing."

Actors often have to face harsh comments, trolled by anonymous people on the internet, and this is one of the serious drawbacks of stardom and fame.
