Donnie Wahlberg, a long-time member of the New Kids on the Block boy band and star of the hit police procedural series Blue Bloods, expressed his gratitude for being part of two long-running entertainment institutions. CBS recently announced that Blue Bloods has been renewed for a 14th season, and in an interview with ET's Nischelle Turner about his upcoming season of the true-crime series Very Scary People, Wahlberg praised his experience on Blue Bloods.

Despite occasionally feeling like it may be time to retire his fictional badge, Wahlberg is inspired by the longevity of other series, such as Law & Order, and the Blue Bloods family. He feels incredibly blessed and grateful to work with a great cast who have become like family, a loyal crew, and so many fans.
