Jennifer Aniston has acknowledged that some episodes of classic sitcom Friends might be too offensive for younger viewers today. Speaking to AFP in Paris, she revealed that there are a whole generation of people who now find the show offensive. She says that comedy has evolved over the years, and writers have to be very careful in today’s climate, which makes it hard for comedians.

Despite criticisms of Friends, Aniston believes that everybody needs funny and that humor is needed more than ever, especially as people are far too divided. The show’s recent reunion may have been its swansong, as Aniston doesn’t believe there will be another one.
