Starz has confirmed that its hit series Outlander has been renewed for an eighth and final season, expected to premiere in 2024. Season seven will be split into two parts, with the first part airing on June 16, 2023. There is no confirmed date for the second part yet. Season eight will likely be based on the eighth novel in the book series, Written in my Heart's Blood, and will continue the story of Jamie and Claire Fraser. The episode count is expected to be 13 episodes.
