And they started adding this thing into the script that they did to each other in real life: one of them would be talking, and they’d all pretend to fall asleep.”

Brewster revealed that this was not negative in any way whatsoever, perhaps even helping the actors up their game when it came to the jokes they cracked. She then went on to reveal that they even incorporated an onscreen gag in their everyday life. If a joke was not all too good, rather than calling the person out on it, the other cast members would simply pretend to fall asleep, acting like the joke was so bad that it put them to sleep. This was something that was very present in the television series itself.
