With the end of "The Walking Dead," the question of who survives the series remains unanswered. Out of the original characters, only two from season 1 are left alive. Some characters, like Siddiq and Abraham, had short-lived tenures, while others like Maxxine and Jesus lasted longer. Gregory, Magna's group, Alden, Sasha, and Glenn all had varying lengths of survival. Jerry, Ezekiel, Negan, Morales, Carl, Morgan, Aaron, Rick, Gabriel, and Michonne were among the longest-surviving characters. Rick and Michonne will appear in an upcoming spinoff series.
