The 13th season of Blue Bloods begins with a Reagan family member getting shot and ending up in the hospital. Jamie is determined to bring justice to the person responsible for the shooting. The family teams up to search for the killer, but things take a dark turn when the killer kidnaps and murders his own wife. Jamie gets shot while trying to apprehend the killer and is rushed to the hospital. The doctors reveal that he might be paralyzed. Eddie asks the captain to let her stay in the same precinct as Jamie. Erin meets a potential supporter for her campaign. Finally, Jamie is applauded by his family and colleagues when he is released from the hospital.
