In the upcoming episode 19 of Blue Bloods season 13, titled Fire Drill, Eddie Janko (played by Vanessa Ray) could face disciplinary action for allegedly harming an activist during a protest. The episode will also see Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) partnering with FDNY to find an arsonist responsible for a massive fire at an NYPD evidence storage facility. Eddie requests Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) to put her on modified duty following her arrest of an anti-cop protester at a rally. In the teaser trailer, Eddie can be seen getting pushed before the footage cuts to the protester lying on the ground and crying in pain. Frank asks Eddie if she used excessive force in his office, but she doesn't reply in the clip.
