Joe Hill, played by Will Hochman, is a relatively new character on "Blue Bloods" as the previously unknown grandson of Frank Reagan. In his role, Joe is still getting to know his large and close-knit family while also dealing with the fact that he became a police officer without knowing his family's history in the NYPD. This causes him to struggle with deciding whether or not to go public with his family ties and how it may affect his career. Additionally, being around the Reagan family dinners can be overwhelming for Joe, as they remind him of the time he missed out on with his extended family.
