Fear the Walking Dead showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian B. Goldberg have revealed an alternate final scene between Victor Strand and Madison in the series finale. In the original ending, Madison and Alicia leave bluebonnets for Strand, letting him know they're still alive. However, there was an idea to have Strand interact with Madison and Alicia one last time, but the showrunners felt that the more symbolic ending was true to the characters. The ending signifies the beginning of new journeys for both Madison and Strand.
