In the second episode of Outlander Season 7, Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan, experiences multiple losses that greatly affect him. He says goodbye to John Grey, his daughter Bree, and his grandchildren, which takes an emotional toll on him. Additionally, Jamie reveals that he has dreams about Claire in the future, showing that he may have some connection to other eras. Unfortunately, the episode ends with a fire destroying the Fraser family home, causing Jamie even more heartbreak. Despite the emotional moments, Heughan enjoyed filming the fiery escape scene.
