From Walking Dead to an Unforgettable Love Story: Michelle Hurd Shines in 'Anyone But You'

Actress Michelle Hurd recently made her debut in the Walking Dead universe on the first episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City. She portrayed the character Jones, the owner of a bar that Maggie visits while searching for Negan. Hurd is well-known for her various roles throughout her career, including Raffi Musiker in Star Trek: Picard. Her next project is the film Anyone But You, directed by Will Gluck, known for movies like Fired Up and Easy A.

 The film, which is loosely based on Much Ado About Nothing, is set to be released in theaters on December 22, 2023. It follows the story of two people, Bea and Ben, who despise each other but find themselves pretending to be a couple at a destination wedding.

Anyone But You stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell alongside Hurd, and has garnered a lot of interest.

 Hurd has also appeared in other popular titles such as Blindspot, The Glades, and Daredevil. She is also known for her role as Det. Monique Jeffries in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In addition to her acting work, Hurd stars in the podcast series Marvel's Wastelanders: Hawkeye and has recently filmed the family drama Inheritance. She is also set to star in the movie Kemba, based on real events, alongside Walking Dead actor Ethan McDowell. Interestingly, Hurd is married to Fear the Walking Dead actor Garret Dillahunt.
