Actor Donnie Wahlberg had to convince Bridget Moynahan to join the cast of the long-running CBS series "Blue Bloods." Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan on the show, called Moynahan and begged her to take on the role of Erin Reagan. Moynahan initially turned down the offer but was eventually convinced by Wahlberg's offer to give her all of his paychecks if they weren't able to shoot in New York. Despite their on-screen bickering, the dynamic between Danny and Erin adds depth to the series.
