The hit Paramount Network series, created by Taylor Sheridan, is set to conclude with part 2 of season 5, but work has been delayed due to behind-the-scenes tensions. Costner's character arc will be "truncated" and there are discussions to have him shoot a few scenes to properly wrap up his character. A sequel series starring Matthew McConaughey has been greenlit.
