Actor Richard Rankin, who plays Roger MacKenzie on Outlander, experienced an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while filming the show's fourth season. During a scene at a highland festival, Rankin forgot he was wearing a kilt and gave the front row quite a view. The scene was also memorable because crew members arrived in festive-themed outfits for the Christmas break. Outlander is currently airing its seventh season and will conclude with an eighth season. The second half of season seven will feature Sinéad O'Connor's rendition of the show's theme song.
