Everything was coming up Kevin Costner – just before everything started to fall apart.
The legendary actor’s career had somewhat of a resurgence with the hit Paramount show Yellowstone, in which Costner has played the leading man since 2018.
Now, the show and the 68-year-old’s life do not seem to be heading towards a “Hollywood ending,” with Costner reportedly causing tension and delays in shooting with the show, and Kevin’s wife Christine filing for a divorce back in May.
The split allegedly caught Costner off guard, and what has made matters worse is that his estranged wife whom he spent 18 years with apparently won’t leave the family home, even though the prenup agreement the couple signed into clearly set out guidelines for her to leave within 30 days.
Records show that Costner made it a priority to maintain his access to his separate residences in the event of a divorce. A previous marriage that the Yellowstone star was in ended with him being removed from his own place of residence, which prompted Costner to never want that to happen to him again.
And it looks like he could choose to live in his sprawling Aspen, Colorado estate if it wasn’t still up for rent for $36,000 dollars a night.
Costner listed the 160-acre property in January, and the home, along with its land and location, is quite impressive.
The Aspen mansion’s 6,000 square feet features 12 bedrooms and eight bathrooms and is located just 10 minutes from downtown Aspen. The estate has been dubbed the “Dunbar Ranch” and is without a doubt fit for a movie star, or someone that can afford to fork over $36K a night
The property features the main residence, a lake house and a river house, along with caretakers on the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also includes a baseball field, three hot tubs, and a sledding hill. The massive property can comfortably house 27 people at once.
