has spoken out after the devasting death of , who took his own life at the age of 40 on Tuesday, December 13.

"Heartbroken. The pure love and joy you brought unto this world will be so ,” Aniston, 53, wrote of ’s famed DJ. “Rest in peace, beautiful soul.”

The  star wrote the kind words alongside a recent video of Aniston and Boss embracing in a hug during the final episode of the renowned talk show. The award-winning actress additionally shared a sweet video of the late DJ and his wife, , dancing in an upbeat TikTok.

Aniston was ’ first and last guest and had appeared on the show a total of 20 times — which was a higher amount than the show’s 19 seasons from 2003-2022.

Boss also joined the show in 2003 as a true hype man, DJ and performer, became an executive producer in 2020 and remained a crowd favorite  back in May.

DeGeneres broke silence on the  of her beloved colleague — whose death was ruled as suicide from a gun shot wound to the head inside an Encino, Calif. hotel.

"I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children —  Weslie, [14],  Maddox, [6], and  Zaia, [3]," the television personality wrote of the  alum.

Boss' wife confirmed the news in an emotional statement on Wednesday, December 14, writing, "it is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us."

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and  was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans," the 34-year-old continued.

"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt," Holker expressed. "I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't . We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."

"Stephen, we love you, , and I will always save the last dance for you," concluded his heartbroken wife — who who had just celebrated her ninth wedding anniversary with Boss on Saturday, December 10.
