Rumors are swirling about who will replace Jonathan Majors as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Majors was set to reprise his role as Kang in the upcoming film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but after being found guilty of assault and harassment charges, he was fired. 

Film scooper Daniel Richtman has suggested that Colman Domingo is being considered as a potential replacement for Majors. Domingo is best known for his role as Victor Strand in Fear the Walking Dead and has received acclaim for his performances in Rustin and Euphoria. However, it should be noted that this casting rumor has not been verified and should be taken with a grain of salt.

The idea of Domingo playing Kang has generated discussion among fans online. 

If Marvel Studios decides to keep Kang in the MCU, Domingo's casting could be a possibility. Reports have suggested that the character might be scrapped in favor of another supervillain, but unresolved questions remain from the events of Loki Season 2. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, referred to internally as Avengers 5, is slated for release on May 1, 2026. Only time will tell what becomes of Kang in the MCU.
