The team behind Outlander is preparing for the beginning of the end of the series.
Although the Hollywood SAG-AFTRA strikes have brought work on the show's eighth and final season to a halt, Outlander's executive producer Maril Davis shed some light on the team's plans for concluding the Starz series after nearly a decade.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Express US, Davis opened up on Outlander wrapping up for good as well as the role of Diana Gabaldon's novels in relation to the series.
She said: "We're talking to Diana and certainly if she wants to give us something from book 10, we'll take it.
"But we want to be respectful of her. We want her to be able to put out that book kind of on her own.
