Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were up there for the top Hollywood couples in the early 2000s alongside other celebrities couples like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. But their marriage came to an abrupt end in 2005, followed by rumors of Brad having an affair with his  co-star, Angelina Jolie.

In the years after their marriage, they each went their separate ways – Brad eventually marrying Angelina in 2014, and Jennifer finding a brief love in fellow Hollywood actor, Justin Theroux, whom she married in 2015 and divorced two years later.

Brad and Angelina divorced around the same time, and in the midst of his and Jolie’s split, a source close to him revealed to  how he felt about his split from Aniston so many years ago.

Pitt and Jolie finalized their divorce in 2019, but initially separated in 2016. Following their separation, Brad dedicated some time to himself, achieving sobriety and attending therapy, where he became “in touch with emotions and his true self like never before,” according to the source in 2018.

“He’s come to realize that leaving Jen for Angelina was one of the biggest mistakes of his life.

And while Brad’s not in love with Jen, he realizes how much he does love her. Brad keeps telling friends that he’s seeing everything more clearly,” they said, adding that he would “never dream of” ruining any relationship she’s in, but “would take a second chance at love with Jen in a heartbeat.”

When they were together, they co-founded the movie production company, Plan B Entertainment, which the source admitted that Brad wanted her to be a part of again with him.

“They worked well together,” the source said.

“He wants Jen involved again as he produces and develops more and more high-quality film and cable TV products.”

As of 2018, the source said Brad “still considers Jen the love of his life.”

But nowadays, while Jennifer remains single after her 2017 divorce, Brad has been seen out with the recently divorced Ines de Ramon who was married to actor Paul Wesley up until last year.

A source close to  recently reported that the two are excited to embark on their relationship together.

“Ines is very giddy,” the source said, “and her friends have never seen her like this before. She has that new crush feeling and it’s very cute.

She has moved on from Paul and isn’t letting their divorce impact her negatively.”

“She’s glad to be starting this new chapter and really enjoys Brad’s company,” they continued. “Ines is trying to protect their relationship as much as possible. She’s keeping things private and low-key. Her loved ones and co-workers are happy for her.”

As for Brad, a second source gave an inside scope on his attitude towards the relationship, saying he is “a very casual guy when it comes to dating,” but also “adores Ines and things are definitely going well between them.

”

“He enjoys her company, and they share a lot of laughs together,” the source continued. “Ines has spent a lot of time with Brad at his house when he is home in L.A., and they enjoy being low-key together. Brad has been busy filming but has made an effort to maintain the relationship and they talk frequently when he isn’t on set. She is a very ‘go with the flow’ type of woman and that is what Brad appreciates.”
