The Walking Dead and its spin-off, Fear the Walking Dead, have had several crossover characters. Morgan Jones from The Walking Dead joined Fear the Walking Dead in season 4. Rick Grimes, Carol Pelletier, Jesus, Dwight, and Sherry also made appearances in Fear the Walking Dead. The most emotional crossover was the return of Duane Jones, Morgan's son, in Fear the Walking Dead season 8. These crossovers have connected the two shows and added to the overall story of the zombie apocalypse.
